Gender is Over (for Me) + a Playlist!

Just a brief musing about what’s coming up for me as explore gender expression through clothing.

I had an aversion to "feminine" clothes for a whiiiiile and then I realized: ⁣

1. An aversion to clothes perceived as feminine started to reflect some internalized misogyny and it felt reallyreally gross. ⁣

2. Clothes are deemed "feminine" and "masculine" by other people and guess the fuck what? Other people don't define my gender identity and expression! So, I was like, "fuck that" and started tryna de-gender clothes (and really everything). For someone who prefers gender neutrality (that's me!), it's been really healing and freeing. ⁣

3. Pencil skirts are hot AF on every body. Period.

PS: I started curating a gender playlist on Spotify. Ch-ch-ch-check it out!
